Class of ’64 Gathers in Center City Philadelphia
On Tuesday evening July 14, members of the Class of ’64 and Fr. Jim Shea ’66 gathered together at the top of Two Liberty Plaza where they enjoyed a magnificent view of center city Philadelphia. During cocktails and hors d’oeuvres more than a dozen classmates reminisced about their days at Devon Prep 45 years ago. John Maguire and Dick Hackman, who organized the party, were joined for their relatively impromptu gathering by classmates Dick Crowley, Ed Deegan, Joe Denny, Jim Falcone, Ed Gavigan, Jay Keeley, Roger Kelly, Bob Koroly, Paul McDevitt, Pete McGarvey, Barry McKeon, Jim Mulhern, and friend, John Kilmartin’67. Since Ed Gavigan was in town that week on business from Hawaii, the ’64 classmates decided to meet in mid July, even if it meant Jay Keeley had to fly in from North Carolina.
