Jeff Hughes Breaks School Record
Congratulations to senior Jeff Hughes who established the all time Devon Prep school record for career 3-pointers with 131 in the January 29th varsity basketball game against New Hope-Solebury. Jeff led all scorers with 20 points in that game which the TIDE won 60-26.
Jeff was recently named Tournament MVP in the Stan Novak Holiday Tournament in Springfield Montgomery County. Last year he was recognized as Player of the Year by the Bicentennial Athletic League (BAL) Independence Division, as well as a member of the Independence Division All League First Team. In addition last spring Jeff was named to the 2009 All Main Line Boys Basketball First Team. Throughout the 2009 season he averaged 19.1 points and 7.2 assists per game.
