Varsity Basketball Team Wins Holiday Tournament
Devon Prep’s Varsity Basketball Team captured the Stan Novak Christmas Tournament in Springfield, Montgomery County, by defeating Springfield High School 49-42. Senior Jeff Hughes who was named Tournament MVP, scored 14 points against the hosts. Senior Tom Hallinan and Junior Duncan Becker were named to the All Tournament Team. Hallinan had eight points and six steals against Springfield, while Duncan Becker had nine points and 17 rebounds.
