Devon Prep’s own Jack Eshleman ’21 has signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as an undrafted free agent! The only Division III player to sign with Toronto, Eshleman has already made his way to Dunedin, Florida to start working with the Blue Jays’ Single-A affiliate.
A standout pitcher at Hamilton College, Eshleman led his team in 2024 with a 2.05 ERA in 11 appearances (18th overall in Division III), earning American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region Team honors. He’s also the first Hamilton College player to sign a Major League Baseball contract!
At Devon Prep, Eshleman was a member of the 2019 PIAA Class 2A State Championship team, and as a senior was voted Second Team All-League and First Team All-League Pitcher (and also received consideration for league MVP).
