Emily Minbiole is in her fourth year thoroughly enjoying teaching science at Devon Prep.  She is the Science Department Head and teaches courses in chemistry (AP, Advanced, Organic) and forensic science. Emily holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry from St. Joseph’s University, and a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from Bryn Mawr College.  She has 20 years of teaching experience.  Prior to arriving at Devon, Emily held a faculty position at Villanova University’s Department of Chemistry for 6 years, where she received an innovative teaching grant to develop a new chemistry laboratory course specific to nursing students.  She has also taught at James Madison University, Delaware County Community College, Guardian Angel Regional Catholic School (Staunton, VA), and Presentation of Mary Academy (Methuen, MA).  She enjoys science-y dinner conversations with her husband, four sons, and two rescue dogs.
