J.R. Krajczar is starting his third year as a theology teacher at Devon Prep. He teaches Catholic Moral Principles as well as an elective on World Religions and Faith in Film. He has been working in Catholic education for the past eleven years, teaching at Salesianum School in Wilmington and Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote prior to coming to Devon Prep. After high school, J.R. entered St. Charles Borromeo Seminary where he was in formation for the priesthood. He received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in theology from the seminary. J.R. firmly believes in the words of Pope Francis that “teaching is a beautiful job; as it allows you to see the growth day by day of people entrusted to your care. It is a little like being parents, at least spiritually. It is a great responsibility.” He currently lives in Jenkintown with his dog, Jake.
