Thomas Marvin
Tom Marvin is the Middle School Counselor and Head Rowing Coach. In his role as a counselor, Tom works individually with students to support their academic and social/emotional growth and teaches sixth and seventh grade guidance classes. For the last two decades, Tom has worked with middle school students in independent schools in a variety of roles, ranging from classroom teacher to Dean of Students to Division Head.
Tom has a Master’s degree from Eastern University in School Counseling as well as a Master’s in Private School Leadership from Teachers College. He received his B.A. in History from Columbia University where he was a member of the rowing team.
A military brat, Tom grew up on both coasts and now resides in Devon with his wife, two children, and rescue dog.
